What's wrong with America
To all Republicans who insist of banning abortion while refusing gun control, environmental regulations, upping the minimum wage and are anti ACA (Obama Care) ..... you are the worst kind of hypocrites: arrogant and ignorant. You are what's wrong with America today.

Jorge Ramos on Donald Trump
I think Donald Trump is the loudest voice of intolerance, division and hatred right now in America. What he is saying about immigrants and women is not only disgraceful, but dangerous.

Inside the GOP Clown Car
On the campaign trail in Iowa, Donald Trump's antics have forced the other candidates to get crazy or go home
Matt Taibbi hit the road with the Republican Party circus Illustration by Victor Juhasz
The thing is, when you actually think about it, it's not funny. Given what's at stake, it's more like the opposite, like the first sign of the collapse of the United States as a global superpower. Twenty years from now, when we're all living like prehistory hominids and hunting rats with sticks, we'll probably look back at this moment as the beginning of the end.
In the meantime, though, the race for the Republican Party presidential nomination sure seems funny. The event known around the world as hashtagGOPClownCar is improbable, colossal, spectacular and shocking; epic, monumental, heinous and disgusting. It's like watching 17 platypuses try to mount the queen of England. You can't tear your eyes away from it.

GOP is after Obamacare again
Will Republicans ever give up on their ACA repeal crusade?
"Obamacare repeal” crusaders need a new hobby
They're still trying to kill Social Security, Medicare, the Voting Rights Act, and other historic legislation...why should they be expected to act differently toward ACA?
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell championed a renewed push to bypass a filibuster and repeal Obamacare with 51 votes on Tuesday, he announced in a joint statement with Utah Senator Mike Lee, one of the most conservative Republicans in the chamber.
“Republicans are united in working to repeal the broken promises of Obamacare,” McConnell said in the statement, adding that the Senate will “continue our effort to use reconciliation … to fulfill the promise we made to our constituents.”

Robert Reich on Voters Rights
A few moments ago, in the lobby of the hotel I'm staying at in Washington, I ran into an old friend who’s become a conservative Republican. He’s incensed at the news that billionaire investor George Soros has committed $5 million to lawsuits attacking voting restrictions put in place by Republican-led legislatures and governors -- including ID requirements and limits on early voting. “You criticize the Koch brothers,” he said. “Soros is doing the same thing, but he’s a liberal so you don’t criticize him.”
“There’s a huge difference,” I said. “The Koch brothers’ political machine is spending over $900 million on the 2016 election – much of it to dismantle environmental and safety regulations, and cut taxes on the wealthy, in order to further enrich themselves. Soros is spending $5 million to help preserve the voting rights of the poor, minorities, and young.”
“That’s a lot of crap,” he said. “Soros just wants to give Democrats an advantage, even if it invites voter fraud.”
“Voter fraud is a red herring,” I said. “It’s nearly non-existent. These restrictions were put in place to make it harder for millions of low-income Americans to vote. Soros deserves the thanks of everyone who cares about our democracy. The Koch brothers are intent on stealing our democracy.”
At this point he turned around and walked away, muttering to himself.

Ann Coulter - The Brightest Bimbo on the Planet
Adios America
Who but Bimbo Ann Coulter could turn Mexican crime problems into an anti Democratic rant and say the Dems are turning the US into a Third World Hellhole. This woman has no pride and is only in it for the money ..... like many Republicans.
Coulter: Media ignores beheading outbreak in Mexico to help Dems
In "Adios America, The Left's Plan To Turn Our Country Into A Third World Hellhole," Coulter charges that the media is playing a role in helping the Left cover up Mexico's crimes, especially beheadings. She notes that the practice has been going on for years in Mexico, and has even crossed into the United States.
Coulter has her own description: "One of Mexico's most notorious beheaders is now living freely in the United States because of Justice Brennan's footnote. In 2010, fourteen-year-old Edgar Jimenez Lugo beheaded four men in the wealthy resort town of Cuernavaca, Mexico, and hung their corpses from a bridge over a busy road, their heads and genitals lying nearby.

Ted Cruz Arrested for Being an Arrogant Prick
Go Grandma
83-year-old Ida Stanley was taken into police custody early today (last November) after she attempted to handcuff and haul away Senator Ted Cruz for “crimes against sanity.”
“You have the right to remain silent…and wouldn't that would be a nice change,”
“You have the right to not flap your gums…to cease and desist with cheesy grins,”
“To stop talking down to Americans when you’re really not that smart.”
“If you cannot afford a lawyer, one will be appointed for you…but I think the $1.3 million you got from Comcast to neuter the internet should cover those costs easily.”

Rick Scott hates science
Another case of what the hell were the voters thinking
This goofy looking idiot not only does not believe in climate change or global warming, it seems he has banned State officials from using the terms climate change or global warming in any official capacity. Here is the result.
Officials at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection have been ordered not to use the term “climate change” or “global warming” in any official communications, emails, or reports, according to former DEP employees, consultants, volunteers and records obtained by the Florida Center for Investigative Reporting.
The policy goes beyond semantics and has affected reports, educational efforts and public policy in a department with about 3,200 employees and $1.4 billion budget.

Orrin Hatches a Scheme
Orrin Hatches a Scheme that does not exist
That scheme would be the non-existent GOP medical plan
I have family that don't like Obama Care and for the life of me I can't imagine why .... except they have enough money to pay for whatever health care they want. The GOP does not like it because it's not theirs and has Obama's name on it. This coming Wednesday the Supreme Court is going to decide if the Republican charges that "the Obama administration used the IRS to deliver health insurance subsidies to Americans in violation of the law"
And the GOP replacement plan goes like .... "There are no more ideas to be found; no more detail to be had. This isn’t a plan. It’s the barest possible sketch of some nascent ideas that could, one day, be used as the basis for a plan."
The GOP is about tearing anything Obama or Democrat down and they could give a shit less about average Americans.

Rudy Giuliani lost his marbles
Rudy Giuliani lost his marbles if he ever had any
Somebody put a collar on this idiot and gag him
Defending his claims that Obama doesn't love America he claims Obama was influenced by Communism and Socialism at age nine indirectly through family members. The fact Obama had one white parent means he was not a product of an African-American society like loony Guili thinks he should be.
“He doesn’t love you. He doesn’t love me. He wasn’t brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up: To love this country,” Giuliani said of Obama

NRA Enabler of Death
The NRA is the Enabler of Death
Paranoid, delusional and venomous as a scorpion. With the weak kneed acquiescence of our polititians, the National Rifle Association has turned the Second Amendment of the Constitution into a cruel and deadly hoax.
Bill Moyers
It's just a gun manufacturer's lobbying organization that takes money from regular folks and uses it to make really bad things happen.
The NRA's business model is exactly like companies that lobby the military equipment makers. The violent destruction of human beings and our societies is the result.

Use deadly force in schools
Grandfatherly Dan Flynn wants to kill students
Texas state Rep. Dan Flynn introduced a bill to allow deadly force in case of fear of bodily harm or harm to school property. Teachers are already allowed to have firearms in school and this would make it a whole lot easier to use them. To make matter worse, civil immunity would be granted to those who use deadly force, meaning they would not be liable for the injury or death of student.
Time for a mental evaluation of all teachers, administrators, bus drivers and especially Dan Flynn.
Such a bill could have disastrous consequences for students of color. A coalition of civil rights organizations found that black and Latino students face much higher rates of disciplinary action in schools, which exacerbates the so-called school-to-prison pipeline. By extension, if students of color are already disproportionately targeted by school authorities for their behavior, they could also become the targets of deadly force used by educators.

Bobby Jindal - Another fear mongering GOP jerk
Bobby Jindal - aka Alfred E Neuman
hasn't got a clue
This idiot must get his news from FOX because he sure didn't get this right. Talking to a group in England he's claiming there are "No Go" zones in Britain where Muslim Sharia law trumps British law and police and commoners don't go there. This is after FOX News has apologized 3 times when their "resident terrorist expert" said the same thing. Poor Bobby/Alfred.
Getting back to Gov. Jindal, one has to wonder what prompted his ignorant outburst. Was this a lame attempt to play into the broad public fears of radical Islam that have arisen in the wake of the Charlie Hebdo killings? If so, that's not good enough for a politician with any shred of integrity.
In my view, Jindal immediately disqualified himself from ever holding a national political office by making such a bizarre statement, though it hasn't stopped any number of American politicians with bizarre notions from winning major national offices in the past. Such behavior does, however, embarrass this country in the court of world opinion.

Fox News over the top again
I swear I've seen this Jeanine Pirro on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills with that hair and makeup. She's not totally wrong but the fear mongering rant is and it's exactly in Fox News style.
If you didn't think Fox News could turn up the crazy anymore, meet host Jeanine Pirro. The Ann Taylor-clad freedom fighter was in fiery form Saturday night on Justice with Judge Jeanine, ranting about everything from the Islamic State group to accusing President Barack Obama of placing this country under Sharia.
Just because Pirro is no dummy — she's a former New York state prosecutor and judge — doesn't immunize her from the cloud of xenophobic insanity permeating the network's studios: "You're in danger, I'm in danger," Pirro exclaimed, ratcheting up the Fox News' paranoia levels to epic highs. "We're at war."

Can you believe Rand Paul for President 2018 - WTF
What the hell is this country thinking to even allow this asshole on the podium. This guy is way right of the Tea Party. Just look who he hired as an aide -- Jack Hunter
Jack Hunter, the self-proclaimed “Southern Avenger” who made the leap from radio shock jock to Rand Paul aide, announced his resignation Monday amid heightened scrutiny of his previous career as a champion of neo-Confederate ideology.Rand Paul aide resigns over neo-Confederate ties despite senator’s support
And here's another .....
Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky has been leading an earnest—if sometimes awkward—effort to court black voters in the wake of President Obama’s re-election. It was a stretch to begin with, but Paul’s outreach campaign crashed into a wall on Tuesday as news emerged that a staffer is neck-deep in neo-Confederate ideology.
Jack Hunter joined Paul’s staff in 2012 as a social media aide and previously worked on one of Paul’s books. But as the conservative Free Beacon reports, he’s also a former shock jock who went by the moniker “the Southern Avenger” and wore a Confederate flag mask to events.
Rand Paul can’t understand why black voters don’t vote GOP. Here’s a clue
